Ya Raqib Meaning, Benefits & Wazifa – Ar-Raqib (The Watchful)
Ar-Raqib
- Abjad value312
- ReciteYā Raqīb
- Count323
From the teachings of Hazrat Maulana Shah Abdur Raheem Sahab Dard (Rahmatullah Alaih)

Meaning
Ar-Raqeeb means the Watchful, the Ever-Observing: the One who watches over all creatures and takes care of them, and from whom nothing is hidden.
Understanding the Name
Allah watches over us at every moment: “Indeed, Allah is ever, over you, an Observer” (An-Nisa’ 4:1). The Sufis call the constant awareness of this muraqabah, a word from the same root, and it is one of the central practices of the path: sitting in the awareness that Allah is watching over the heart.
Muraqabah makes worship sincere and keeps the heart from heedlessness. A person who feels watched over by Ar-Raqeeb is both protected and guided.
Effects and reflections
This quality of Allah reminds His servants at every moment that they are being watched by the Almighty.
Many Muslims today are heading towards ruin by ignoring this fact, thinking that Allah is not watching them. May Allah forgive us. To believe that anyone besides Allah is also one’s true guardian is shirk. Even those who are busy with learning, such as scholars, jurists, hadith experts and huffaz, must keep this awareness; otherwise the ummah divides into many sects, and through division it becomes weak and oppressed. May Allah guide us. Ameen.

Ya Wasi Meaning, Benefits & Wazifa – Al-Wasi (The All-Encompassing)
Al-Wasi
From the teachings of Hazrat Maulana Shah Abdur Raheem Sahab Dard (Rahmatullah Alaih)
Meaning
Al-Wasi means the All-Encompassing, the Boundless: the One whose knowledge, mercy and generosity have no limits, and who gives abundantly.
Understanding the Name
Nothing is too large for Al-Wasi’s mercy and nothing is outside His knowledge. “To Allah belong the East and the West; wherever you turn, there is the Face of Allah. Indeed, Allah is All-Encompassing and All-Knowing” (Al-Baqarah 2:115). He multiplies the reward of charity for whom He wills, “and Allah is All-Encompassing and Knowing” (Al-Baqarah 2:261).
This Name widens the heart of the believer: he stops thinking narrowly, becomes generous, and never feels that Allah’s mercy is too small for him.
Effects and reflections
Whatever we possess, and whatever exists in the universe, is all from Allah.
Every servant of Allah is embraced by Allah, who provides for him from His endless abundance.
Treatment (Amal)
Whoever desires spiritual elevation and material self-sufficiency should recite “Yā Wāsi‘” 148 times after every prayer.
