From the teachings of Hazrat Maulana Shah Abdur Raheem Sahab Dard (Rahmatullah Alaih)

Meaning
Al-Wadood means the Most Loving: the One who loves those who do good, who is loved by His righteous servants, and who places love in their hearts for one another.
Understanding the Name
Allah’s love is not only a feeling but an active care: He shows it by guiding, forgiving and drawing His servants near. “And He is the Forgiving, the Loving” (Al-Buruj 85:14). Allah also says: “Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds, the Most Merciful will appoint for them love” (Maryam 19:96), love from Him and love in the hearts of people.
The path of tasawwuf is, at its heart, a path of love: love of Allah and His Messenger ﷺ, which then overflows into love for all creation.
Effects and reflections
Allah has immense love for His creatures. Every beloved servant of Allah should therefore also love his fellow human beings, do good to them, and show mercy to other creatures as well.
To spread Islam, the Prophet ﷺ, out of his deep love for the religion and for people, went to Ta’if. There he was met with cruelty and rudeness; stones were thrown at him. Yet he prayed to Allah to forgive them. This shows the deeply compassionate nature of the Prophet ﷺ.
Treatment (Amal)
To end mutual differences and quarrels, recite “Yā Wadūd” 31 times after every prayer. It also removes differences between husband and wife, and creates a strong bond of love and affection between them.

Ya Majid Meaning, Benefits & Wazifa – Al-Majeed (The Most Glorious)
Al-Majeed
From the teachings of Hazrat Maulana Shah Abdur Raheem Sahab Dard (Rahmatullah Alaih)
Meaning
Al-Majeed means the Most Glorious, the Most Honourable: the One whose glory, generosity and honour are perfect and without limit.
Understanding the Name
Majd means glory joined with generosity. Al-Majeed is glorious in His essence and also in His giving. The angels said to the family of Ibrahim: “The mercy of Allah and His blessings be upon you, people of the house. Indeed, He is Praiseworthy and Glorious (Hamidun Majid)” (Hud 11:73). We repeat these same words at the end of Durood Ibrahim in every prayer.
Knowing Al-Majeed gives the believer a sense of honour that does not depend on wealth or fame, but on his relationship with the Most Glorious.
Effects and reflections
In a family, everyone respects the eldest; women, men and children are all influenced by the head of the family. In the same way, the affairs of a country or a district are influenced by its minister or administrator. Likewise, the whole universe is influenced in every respect by the Most Glorious, Allah.
Treatment (Amal)
A person suffering from a serious disease (such as smallpox, leprosy and the like) should fast on the 13th, 14th and 15th of every (lunar) month, and after breaking the fast recite “Yā Majīd” 68 times, blow on water and drink it. Insha’Allah, he will soon be cured. He should also recite it 68 times after every prayer.
