From the teachings of Hazrat Maulana Shah Abdur Raheem Sahab Dard (Rahmatullah Alaih)

Meaning
Al-Aliyy means the Most High, the Exalted: the One who is above everything in His essence, His power and His rank.
Understanding the Name
Al-Aliyy is high above His creation in every sense: none can reach His level, and nothing is hidden from Him. Ayat al-Kursi ends with the words “And He is the Most High, the Magnificent” (Al-Baqarah 2:255), and in every sajdah we say Subhana Rabbiyal A‘la, “Glory be to my Lord, the Most High.” It is beautiful that we glorify Allah as the Most High at the very moment our heads are at their lowest.
Recognising Al-Aliyy keeps the believer humble, and lifts his ambitions above worldly things towards what pleases his Lord.
Effects and reflections
The effect of this quality on a pious servant of Allah should be that he does not consider anyone other than Allah to be the Most High, however great they may seem. He should seek help from Allah alone, wholeheartedly, for all his needs.
He should keep in mind the character of Hazrat Ali (Radiyallahu Anhu), and depend only on Allah for the fulfilment of all his wishes and needs.
Treatment (Amal)
To be blessed with success and happiness, recite “Yā ‘Aliyy” 121 times after every prayer. Insha’Allah, Allah will raise him, grant him prosperity and fulfil all his lawful wishes.

Ya Kabir Meaning, Benefits & Wazifa – Al-Kabir (The Most Great)
Al-Kabir
From the teachings of Hazrat Maulana Shah Abdur Raheem Sahab Dard (Rahmatullah Alaih)
Meaning
Al-Kabeer means the Most Great: the One who is greater than everything, and before whom everything else is small.
Understanding the Name
We announce this Name many times a day in Allahu Akbar, “Allah is greater”, which begins every prayer and fills the call to prayer. The Qur’an describes Allah as “the Knower of the unseen and the seen, the Most Great, the Most Exalted” (Ar-Ra‘d 13:9).
Whenever a person feels that something in this world is too big for him, whether a problem, a fear or a temptation, saying Allahu Akbar reminds him that Allah is greater than all of it.
Effects and reflections
The effect of this quality on a pious servant of Allah should be that, in humility, he considers himself small, and considers everything in the universe small compared with Allah. He acts according to what Allah likes and commands, and gives up all laziness in doing so.
It is the duty of the small to bow before the Great, Allah. Those who do not reflect on this regard created things as the greatest, and in their ignorance kill one another. May Allah, the Most Great, have mercy on us. Ameen.
Treatment (Amal)
A person who has been dismissed from his post or job should fast for seven days and recite “Yā Kabīr” 143 times after every prayer. Insha’Allah, he will regain his position with honour and dignity, and gain respect.
