Meaning
Al-Mu’min means the Giver of Faith and Security: the One who is perfect peace and safety in Himself, and who grants peace and security to all His creatures.
Understanding the Name
The Name comes from the root a-m-n, which gives both iman (faith) and aman (safety). Al-Mu’min is the One who places faith in the hearts of His servants and who keeps them safe from fear. He confirms His promise and never breaks it. He is named in Al-Hashr 59:23.
