The Almighty Lord is the only Benefactor no one else can provide goodness. As Allah (swt) does not harm any one without any reason, similarly he does not simply benefit anyone. All this depends on our acts sometimes as a chastisement for our deeds or repentance for our sins or for excellence. If the benefit provided by the Lord indulges man into sins then he deserves chastisement, if he abstains from sins it is a blessing and if he excels, he rises in ranks.
