Maarifat – Marifat e Ilahi (Knowing Allah)

Maarifat: recognising Allah

Maarifat (marifat e Ilahi) is the knowledge of Allah that lives in the heart: recognising His greatness, His nearness and His signs in creation and in oneself. It is the fruit of sincere worship, zikr and the purification of the soul.

These Urdu bayanaat explain the stages of marifat, the teachings of the Sufi masters on tawheed, and how a seeker moves from knowing about Allah to knowing Allah.
